Malabar is a quiet, small-town community along Florida's Space Coast, tucked along the Indian River Lagoon just south of Palm Bay. With around 3,000 residents, it offers a peaceful, semi-rural atmosphere with plenty of elbow room. Students attend Brevard Public Schools in neighboring communities, while major shopping centers, restaurants, and hospitals are a short drive away in Melbourne or Palm Bay. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, bike, or ride horses along the trails at the Malabar Scrub Sanctuary. Thanks to direct connections along U.S. 1 and Malabar Road, commuting to Space Coast aerospace jobs or spending an afternoon at the beach is an easy trip, making the town a great fit for anyone who wants country living near the coast.
