About Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs is a historic resort city in El Paso County, Colorado, situated at the base of Pikes Peak. Founded in the late nineteenth century around its natural mineral springs, the community of approximately 4,700 features a well-preserved downtown historic district filled with shops and restaurants. The city provides direct access to the Barr Trail up Pikes Peak and is served by Manitou Springs School District 14.
