About Marbury

Marbury is an Autauga County census-designated place along U.S. 31, about twelve miles north of Prattville. The community was once known as Bozeman, and its later identity grew around a post office, Marbury Baptist Church, and the farm-and-lumber country of northeastern Autauga County. Marbury High School became a junior high in the 2010–11 school year, and the Autauga County School System remains part of the local map. Marbury is an Alabama crossroads with a county-road history and a name that outlasted its earlier one.
