Marshalltown, IA

Marshalltown is a central Iowa city and the seat of Marshall County. Henry Anson was the first European settler in what became the city, and Marshalltown grew into a manufacturing and regional-service hub. The Iowa Veterans Home is one of its most important institutions, giving the city a statewide role beyond its own population.
