Marshfield is a city and the county seat of Webster County, Missouri, situated within the Springfield metropolitan area. Named after its Massachusetts namesake and platted in 1855, the community of approximately 7,696 hosts the annual Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival and the historic Hosmer Dairy Farm. Public education is served by the Marshfield R-I School District.
