Martin, GA

Martin is a quiet, close-knit community in the rolling foothills of northeast Georgia, sitting right on the border of Stephens and Franklin counties. With only a few hundred residents, it has a relaxed rural rhythm where you will find open pastures, wooded lots, and plenty of privacy. The town got its start in the late 1800s as a train stop along an old mountain trade route, and it has held onto that simple crossroads charm ever since.

State Route 17 runs directly through Martin, giving residents an easy drive to nearby Toccoa for shopping and schools, or south toward Lavonia and Lake Hartwell for weekend recreation. The community comes together every October for the annual Fall Festival, which fills Main Street with local food, live music, and craft vendors.
