Mascot, TN

Located along the Holston River about twenty minutes northeast of Knoxville, Mascot is a small Knox County community of roughly 3,300 residents. The area grew around historic river crossings and zinc mining, eventually expanding with modern employers at Eastbridge Business Park. Today, it provides a quiet, countryside atmosphere with rolling hills and open space, while direct routes along Old Rutledge Pike and U.S. 11W keep daily travel into Knoxville simple.

Families are part of the Knox County school district, with East Knox County Elementary conveniently located right in town. Because Mascot is unincorporated, Knox County oversees local infrastructure, emergency services, and community maintenance. Most residents head into Knoxville, Blaine, or Strawberry Plains for major retail, dining, and medical care, returning home to scenic river views and peaceful residential roads.
