Mason Neck is a census-designated place on a peninsula in Fairfax County, Virginia, jutting into the Potomac River. Two-thirds of the community of approximately 2,039 is preserved parkland home to over two hundred bird species, and it features Gunston Hall, the historic 1755 plantation of George Mason.
