Tucked directly behind the commercial strip, you will find quiet, established residential neighborhoods filled with ranch homes, split-levels, and bungalows. When house hunting here, finding the right spot comes down to what you want closest. Living nearer to Mayfield Road puts groceries, healthcare, and transit steps away, while streets further north or south offer a calmer, low-traffic neighborhood feel.

The city hit its stride during the postwar building boom as families moved east out of Cleveland, particularly from Little Italy.
