Sitting just south of Ponca City across the river in Osage County, McCord offers a peaceful, open setting with plenty of room to breathe. Home to around 1,400 residents, it has a relaxed rural atmosphere filled with larger lots, quiet roads, and starry night skies. Ponca City is only a few minutes away, so running errands, commuting to work, and grabbing dinner are all quick and easy.

The focal point of the area is McCord Public School, a close-knit district serving students from Pre-K through sixth grade. The school brings neighborhood families together for youth sports and community events throughout the year. Older kids usually head into Ponca City for middle and high school, giving families a great balance of a small-town foundation and full access to nearby city resources.
