Located in Carroll County and known to locals simply as "McLey," McLemoresville is a quiet West Tennessee community of fewer than 300 residents. The town has a rich local history, having briefly served as the county seat in the 1800s and as the original birthplace of Bethel University before the school moved to nearby McKenzie.
