McNabb, IL

McNabb is a village in Putnam County, Illinois, United States. The 2020 census counted 275 residents. McNabb is part of the Ottawa Micropolitan Statistical Area. Just outside of McNabb is the Clear Creek Meeting House, one of the few surviving western Quaker meeting houses. That mix gives McNabb a clear local shape within Illinois, with older layers still visible in current places. The local scoop is a place whose streets, landmarks, and institutions keep its earlier story close to the present. The Meeting House once hosted local abolitionists, such as Benjamin Lundy.
