About Mead
Mead is an unincorporated suburb and census-designated place in Spokane County, Washington, situated directly north of Spokane. Named after Civil War General George Meade, the community of approximately 6,900 is home to the game development studio Cyan Worlds, creators of the famous adventure game Myst. Bisected by Deadman Creek, the family-oriented neighborhood is served by the highly regarded Mead School District.
