Meadow Bridge, WV

Meadow Bridge is a quiet rural town in Fayette County, tucked along Meadow Creek in the southern West Virginia hills. With around 320 residents, the community offers a peaceful setting where neighbors look out for one another. The town took root during the early 1900s timber boom when the Meadow River Lumber Company built rail lines into the valley to haul out mountain hardwood. Those early rail stops and mill camps eventually grew into the small residential community that exists today.

Daily life here centers around Meadow Bridge Regional School, which serves local families and brings the community together for sports and school events. Residents enjoy a slow, private pace of life surrounded by forested ridges and mountain streams, with quick access to the New River Gorge region for hiking and fishing.
