Meadview, AZ

Meadview is a census-designated place in northern Mohave County, Arizona, with 1,420 residents in the 2020 census. It was laid out in the 1960s as a retirement community near Lake Mead and remains a place of homes, seasonal stays, desert roads, and long views toward the water. The community is about three miles east of Lake Mead, with Pearce Ferry and the Colorado River farther north.

Meadview’s streets sit in open Mojave country, but the lake gives the place its reason for being. Boating, fishing, desert drives, and the larger recreation map around Lake Mead draw visitors, while Kingman Unified School District connects younger residents to schools beyond the CDP.
