About Medina

Medina is a historic city in northeast Ohio, about halfway between Cleveland and Akron. Founded in 1818 as part of the Connecticut Western Reserve, it has one of the more memorable courthouse-square centers in the region, with older brick buildings, shops, and civic events arranged around the public square. Many residents commute into larger job markets, but Medina keeps a distinct county-seat feel: traditional, compact in the center, and visibly shaped by its 19th-century town plan.
