Meiners Oaks is a scenic census-designated place in the Ojai Valley of Ventura County, California, situated just west of the city of Ojai. Named after John Meiners, a Milwaukee brewer who acquired the land in the 1870s, the community of approximately 3,900 is bordered by the Ventura River.
