Melrose, NM

Melrose is a quiet, tight-knit village of about 600 residents on the eastern plains of New Mexico. Along with its deep farming and ranching roots, the town has an interesting creative heritage dating back to the 1930s, when it hosted one of only four New Deal community art centers built across the state. That historic project gave this small community a unique cultural spark that still sets it apart today.
