Mendon, OH

Mendon is a village in Mercer County, Ohio, with a name that arrived after the place had already started. It was platted as Guilford in 1834, then took the Mendon name when its post office opened in 1839. The 2020 census counted 628 residents. The village sits in western Ohio's farm country, in a county whose older routes follow the St. Marys and Wabash river corridors toward Indiana and the rest of the state.

Mendon Town Hall is the standout historic address.
