About Menomonee Falls
Menomonee Falls was Wisconsin’s most populous village at the 2020 census, when it had 38,527 residents. The Waukesha County community is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Menominee and Chippewa people inhabited the area before the town of Menomonee was created in December 1839. Later development brought shopping centers and employers including Harley-Davidson and Wacker Neuson. Fussville, once a separate unincorporated community, was annexed between 1950 and 1960. A 150-acre, 18-hole golf course begun in the mid-1960s occupies the village’s southwestern corner.
