Middle Amana, IA

Middle Amana is the largest of the seven villages that make up the Amana Colonies, set among the rolling fields along the Iowa River. The settlement was originally founded as a self-sufficient communal society, where residents lived within walking distance of local workshops, bakeries, and farms. Today, the village offers a quiet, close-knit rural setting defined by historic brick and sandstone homes, spacious yards, and plenty of open country.
