The city itself began in the 1970s as a master-planned community centered around a golf course and country club. Because planners prioritized nature from the beginning, greenbelts and mature evergreen forests are woven into nearly every residential pocket. While the city has grown over the decades to include newer subdivisions, it retains a distinct park-like feel. You will find quiet cul-de-sacs, lush landscaping, and miles of paved neighborhood trails that make walking the dog or going for an evening jog exceptionally peaceful.
