Mill Spring, MO

Mill Spring got its start in the 1870s as a railroad stop centered around a freshwater spring that powered an early pioneer mill. Tucked into the hills of Wayne County along the Black River valley, the village was built on timber, running water, and the railway. Today, it is a quiet, spread-out Ozark community where life moves at a relaxed pace. With Route 49 connecting north toward Leeper and the river right nearby, it offers scenic green spaces, easy access to outdoor recreation, and classic small-town Missouri living.
