Miller Place, NY

Miller Place is a North Shore community on Long Island, in the town of Brookhaven. It sits near Mount Sinai Harbor and has a local history that reaches back to early colonial settlement, with a historic district preserving some of that older character. Cordwood Landing County Park gives the area access to woods, shoreline, and walking trails. Miller Place is largely residential, but its harbor setting and historic pieces make it feel more distinct than a standard Suffolk County suburb.
