Mills River, NC

Mills River is a town in Henderson County, North Carolina, situated at the confluence of the Mills River and the French Broad River. Incorporated in 2003 as part of the Asheville metropolitan area, the community of approximately 7,300 has deep Cherokee roots. The town is home to a major Sierra Nevada brewing facility, which represents a significant local economic driver, and is served by public schools including Mills River Elementary.
