Mineral, CA

Tucked into the pine forests of Tehama County, Mineral is a tiny mountain community of just over a hundred residents along the doorstep of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Originally settled by ranchers and stagecoach travelers in the late nineteenth century, the area became the park's administrative headquarters in 1928. Today, it offers a peaceful, rustic pace of life surrounded by tall evergreens, mountain air, and endless opportunities for hiking and exploring the outdoors.
