About Mishawaka

Mishawaka is a St. Joseph County city on the St. Joseph River and a principal city in the South Bend-Mishawaka metro area. Its nickname is the Princess City, and its older neighborhoods sit alongside newer subdivisions built to keep a hometown feel. University Park Mall has been part of the north side since 1979, while George Wilson Park on the south side is known for winter tobogganing and disc golf. Bethel University adds a small college presence to the city.
