About Mission Bend

Mission Bend is a large census-designated community around Texas State Highway 6, split between Fort Bend and Harris counties in the Houston area. It began developing in the early 1980s and now has more than thirty-six thousand residents. Mission West Park gives the Fort Bend side a local recreation space, while nearby schools such as Kerr High School tie the community into the broader suburban education network. Mission Bend is practical, diverse, and very much a product of west Houston's outward growth.
