Molalla, OR

Molalla is a small Clackamas County city named for the Molalla River, which in turn takes its name from the Molala people who lived in the area. The river and surrounding farm and forest country still define the place more than Portland does, even though the city sits within the outer orbit of the metro region. Local events such as the Easter Egg Hunt in the Park give it a small-town calendar. Molalla feels rural, practical, and tied to foothill Oregon.
