About Monaca

Monaca is a historic borough in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, situated along the Ohio River. Founded in 1822 as Phillipsburg before renaming in honor of the Oneida leader Monacatootha and known for its Stolzle Glass manufacturing plant, the industrial community of approximately 5,519 is served by the Central Valley School District for local public education.
