Monte Sereno, CA

Monte Sereno is a small, affluent city in Santa Clara County, tucked into the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains beside Los Gatos. The area was once part of the Rancho Rinconada de Los Gatos land grant, and the city's name refers to nearby El Sereno Mountain. Monte Sereno is almost entirely residential, with large homes, residential streets, and no real commercial downtown. It feels private, wooded, and deliberately low-profile within the otherwise busy Silicon Valley region.
