Monterey, LA

Monterey is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Concordia Parish, Louisiana, United States. The 2020 census counted 474 residents. The community is located near the junction of Louisiana Highways 129 and 565 in west central Concordia Parish, southwest of Ferriday. Monterey is also part of the Natchez, MS–LA Micropolitan Statistical Area. That mix gives Monterey a clear local shape within Louisiana, with older layers still visible in current places.
