Montgomery is a village in Hillsdale County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The 2020 census counted 322 residents. The village is located within Camden Township. The community was first settled as early as 1870 by several farmers who moved to the area prior to the expansion of the railroad that came by the next year. The village is served by two separate public school districts. The majority of the village is served by Reading Community Schools to the northeast in Reading.
