About Morgan Hill
Morgan Hill is a Northampton County census-designated place with 1,034 residents in the 2020 census, perched in Williams Township at the top of the hill above the Lehigh Valley. Morgan Hill Road runs through the center, I-78 passes just north with an interchange at Morgan Hill Road, and Easton sits to the north. The place is suburban in the broad sense—houses, a golf course, and road access—but its map still opens onto the rural hills and roads of Williams Township.
The eastern side of the CDP includes Morgan Hill Golf Course and associated housing, while the western side rises above 800 feet. Williams Township’s rural roads and Delaware River corridor sit nearby. Morgan Hill is a hillside residential pocket whose daily geography is shaped by the I-78 exit, the golf course, and the road downhill into Easton. It is close to Lehigh Valley jobs and services for daily commutes and errands without having a separate town center of its own.
