Morrisdale, PA

Morrisdale is a Clearfield County census-designated place in Morris Township, about five miles north of Philipsburg on Pennsylvania Route 53. It sits at the eastern edge of the county, where the Moshannon watershed, wooded ridges, and old coal-and-lumber routes meet. Morris Township dates to 1836, and its older economy ran through timber, farming, coal, and rail lines following Moshannon Creek.
