Mosquito Lake is a census-designated place in Haines Borough, Alaska, taking its name from the adjacent lake. Bordered to the south by the Klehini River and to the west by the Canada-United States boundary at the Pleasant Camp border crossing, the remote community is home to approximately one hundred residents. The area offers a rugged, wilderness setting with opportunities for hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation in the scenic coastal forests of southeast Alaska, situated north of the city of Haines.
