About Moultrie

Moultrie is the county seat and largest city of Colquitt County, Georgia, serving as the third-largest municipality in the southwest portion of the state. Originally known as Ochlockoney until its incorporation in 1859, the agricultural community of approximately 14,588 contains the Moultrie Commercial Historic District, which features the historic Colquitt Theatre. Public education is administered by the Colquitt County School District.
