About Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant is a Racine County village in southeastern Wisconsin, between Milwaukee and Chicago. It began as a town in 1842 and later developed into a large suburban community with neighborhoods, schools, Gateway Technical College, and access to Lake Michigan-area job markets. The village became widely known after Foxconn announced a major campus there in 2017, even as that project changed over time. Mount Pleasant feels like a practical Racine suburb with an unusually high-profile economic development story.
