Mount Washington, KY

Mount Washington is a northeastern Bullitt County city south of Louisville, originally known as The Cross Roads because it sat where two stagecoach routes met. That crossroads identity still makes sense today: the city is a growing Louisville-area community with local schools in the Bullitt County system and a mix of older town fabric, subdivisions, and commuter traffic. Mount Washington feels like a place where small-town Kentucky roots have been pulled into the outer edge of a larger metro.
