About Mountville

Mountville is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, situated along the U.S. Route 30 corridor. Laid out in 1814 by Isaac Rohrer as Mount Pleasant and historically serving as the original home of the Charles Chips potato chip factory, the community of approximately 3,004 is served by the Hempfield School District for public education.
