Muleshoe is a city and the county seat of Bailey County, Texas, situated in the High Plains region of the state. Established in 1913 along the Pecos and Northern Texas Railway and famously hosting the National Mule Memorial within its borders, the agricultural community of approximately 5,667 is served by the Muleshoe Independent School District locally.
