Mustang, OK

Mustang is an Oklahoma City-area suburb whose roots go back to agriculture and a post office established in 1895. The town was not formally established until later, and its economy remained farm-based into the mid-20th century. Today Mustang Public Schools is one of the community's defining institutions, serving both the city and nearby Oklahoma City areas. Mustang has grown into a family-oriented suburban place with a small-town name, school pride, and close access to the southwest side of the metro.
