Nanticoke is a city in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, situated in the historic Wyoming Valley. Originally inhabited by the Algonquian-speaking Nentego people and home to the main campus of Luzerne County Community College, the community of approximately 10,653 is served by the Greater Nanticoke Area School District for public primary and secondary education.
