About Nashua
Nashua is a Wilkin County city at the meeting of Minnesota Highways 9 and 55, with the Rabbit River and freight rail lines shaping the surrounding map. The post office opened in 1892; from 1973 it operated as a rural station before closing in 1996. Those transportation layers give Nashua a role as a small highway-and-rail stop in the farm country between Wahpeton, Fergus Falls, and the Fargo-Moorhead area. State routes and rail corridors still carry traffic through this Red River region.
