About Nashville

Nashville is a city and the county seat of Howard County, Arkansas, situated at the base of the scenic Ouachita foothills. Historically, the community developed as a major agricultural center in southwest Arkansas, famously serving as a hub for the regional peach trade which sustained the local economy during the Great Depression. Today the city hosts a branch campus of the Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas and is served by local public schools.
