Naukati Bay, AK

Naukati Bay is a census-designated place on the west coast of Prince of Wales Island in Alaska, approximately thirty miles north of Craig and twenty miles southwest of Coffman Cove. Also known as Naukati or Naukati West, the community grew from a logging camp over the past three decades into a small independent settlement of 142 residents as of the 2020 census. Logging and related lumber services remain the primary economic activity. The Naukati School is operated by the Southeast Island School District.
