Nebo is a home rule-class city in Hopkins County, Kentucky, United States. The 2024 census counted 204 residents. Nebo was established by pioneer and merchant Alfred Townes in 1840. Nebo was named for the Biblical Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Nebo makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap.
