About Neosho

Neosho is the county seat and most populous city of Newton County, Missouri, situated on the western edge of the Ozarks. Historically referred to as Six Bulls in reference to the six large streams that flow through the region, the community of approximately 13,224 served as an early transportation hub for shipping lead to Indian Territory. Public education is served by the Neosho School District.
