About Nesika Beach

Nesika Beach is a Curry County coastal community about eight miles north of Gold Beach, where homes and roadside businesses sit between the Pacific shoreline and the forested Oregon Coast. The name comes from Chinook Jargon for “we,” “us,” or “our,” a fitting word for a place whose daily connections run through Gold Beach, Riley Creek Elementary, Central Curry School District, and the county's south-coast roads. U.S. 101 keeps the community tied to the larger coast, but the beach and headlands set the pace.

Nesika Beach RV Park and Campground brings year-round camping, while the Indian Creek Cafe and nearby beach access give the community a few local stops beyond the highway. Gold Beach supplies the high school, town services, groceries, and larger errands, and Riley Creek Elementary serves younger students across the district. Nesika Beach is small and coastal without being isolated: a strip of homes, forest, beach, school connections, and a north-south road that keeps Curry County within reach.
