New Albin is a city in Iowa Township, Allamakee County, Iowa, United States. The 2020 census counted 432 residents. New Albin is the northeastern-most town in Iowa, located on the Mississippi River and the Minnesota border. New Albin was platted in 1872 shortly after the Chicago, Dubuque and Minnesota Railroad had been built through that territory.
